What can I expect working with Taylor?
When we are working together, you can expect to find a caring, compassionate, and empathetic environment that allows you to fully be yourself. Taylor firmly believes that trust is a large factor in being able to heal and deal with trauma, anxiety, and depression. You will never be forced to do or talk about anything that feels uncomfortable to you.
What kind of Therapy do you use?
Each client is different and responds differently to different kinds of therapy. There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to treatment.
We typically use EMDR for trauma and PTSD as it is incredibly effective in helping people move through challenging memories and life events. This process is thought to help the brain “reprocess” the memory—integrating it into your broader life experience so it feels less raw and overwhelming.
